Focus for Presentation:
The Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) publishes each year several 6-8 page reports, Edtech Next. This presentation will highlight the April 2016 report on “Students as Digital Creators.” The presentation will highlight:
- the classroom work of Don Wettrick, an “innovation” teacher from the Noblesville High School, just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana;
- the district framework for computational thinking from Aileen Owens, the Director of Technology and Innovation for the South Fayette School District;
- a regional perspective examining the Remake Learning Network in Pittsburgh by Norton Gusky, the co-chair for the CoSN Emerging Technologies committee.
