Student collaboration turns to 3D, avatars – eCampus News

The Stuckeman School of Architecture at Penn State has built a new component of its degree in Geodesign: a 3D virtual studio populated by avatars.

I’d love to learn more about other projects using avatars. Second Life had a strong presence in Higher Ed. I’m wondering, if this is a more academically focused approach.
