How Today’s Digital Media Helps Kids Find and Tell Their Stories
When kids learn how to create media, not just consume it, a world of opportunities opens up for them to share what matters in their lives.
Great examples of Pittsburgh-based projects that are tapping into learner’s interest in digital story-telling. The Hear Me project from the CREATE Lab at CMU works with kids to becomes agents in their communities; the Cornell School District has students creating a story per day to broadcast within the school district.
