This is, in my opinion, one of the best descriptions of Learning Analytics that I have seen anywhere.  Too often Learning Analytics is described so generally or in a way that makes it sound like it’s just the use of more technology to analyze student test data — but it’s SO much more than that… This emerging strategy/technology takes the process of continuous formative assessment to a whole new level.  The description in this article supports why I believe that eventually every student will learn through blended models of education that are much more personalized and customized through the use of Learning Analytics by skilled, caring educators. — SDS
